GROW

Deepen your relationship with God and others

With God...

As you discover truths about Jesus, we trust what you find will make you want to know Him more and more.

But how can we know God?

Through Jesus' victory on the Cross, we are invited to share life with God now and forever.
  • In trusting Jesus as our Savior, we are given the Holy Spirit who empowers us to experience God's love as He strengthens and encourages us.
  • Enabled by the Holy Spirit, we hear from God as we read the Bible and pray.
  • As God shows us His way and invites us to follow Him in it, we make the choice whether or not we trust His Word, adopting His perspective and living life according to it.
  • Experiencing God's goodness when we trust Him leads us to surrender more and more of ourselves to God and His will for our lives.
  • Step by step we grow deeper in relationship with God and our hearts are transformed to look like His.

Here are the ways we seek to support your deepening relationship with God:

Weekend Services
We gather on Sundays at 10am to worship God together, hear the Word of God taught, and be met by Him as we seek Him together.

Throughout the year, various studies are offered as opportunities to dive deeper into understanding the Bible and what God's Word has to say about who He is and the difference that makes in our day to day lives.
Resources
Talk It Over sermon reviews: October thru May we provide this reflection and application tool for each week's teaching. Our goal is to help you process what God is revealing about Himself and consider what it might look like to trust that day to day.

With Others...

As followers of Jesus, church isn’t just the place we attend on the weekend, it is the family of believers that we belong to. We are the church. As the church, we come together as a body – each part bringing its own special work, helping each of the other parts to grow in order that as a whole, the body is built up in love, becoming more and more in every way like Jesus.

Outside of weekend church services, here are the primary ways we seek to grow together as the body at Mountainside:

Lifegroups
Each of these small groups bring together the Mountainside family in a range of ages, life situations, and points of view, reflecting the beauty of unity in God’s diverse body and providing the space for regularly sharing meals, prayer, and life as we are transformed in our understanding of God and following Him.

Men's + Ladies' Ministries
Through Bible and book studies, mentorship, and events, Men’s and Ladies’ ministries at Mountainside provide opportunities to come together as groups of men or women to be equipped, encouraged, and engaged.  We seek to equip men and women to know God more deeply and trust Him more fully as they live with Him. We seek to encourage men and women in their relationships and routines of life as they are growing as disciples  of Jesus. We seek to offer ways men and women can engage in serving the people and places around them. See the events page for upcoming ways to be involved.  If you have any questions or are interested in being connected to a mentor for encouragement in walking through a specific situation as a follower of Jesus, we would love to help.

Youth Programs
At Mountainside we believe that no matter your age you can experience life with God - knowing His love for you, understanding what He says about who He is, who you are, and how to share life together. In this hope, we’re excited to offer programs for children and teens.
